Recently a group of Year 6 students were lucky enough to take part in a science trip to the F1 Williams Team Headquarters. This was part of a cross city trip with children from different schools attending together. Out of the children who applied to attend the trip, 5 boys and 5 girls names were pulled from a hat to take part in this unforgettable journey through speed, heritage, and innovation.

Here is what one of our Year 6 students had to say about the experience.

"Inside the museum there were cars worth about 200 million alongside many older cars from the 1970s up until now. We also had a workshop and during this, we had to use junk modelling resources to make the nose of a car which we were then going to crash test. My team came second in the crash testing and Adam's team came first. The simulator experience of driving an F1 car on different tracks e.g. Monaco and Silverstone, was fun - this was the best part of the day. At the end of the day we were given a bag of F1 goodies including an F1 charger, a pen and a bottle. This was great trip which you should try and it was FREE. "
